| Customer Reviews: Very Good Book September 26, 2009 Marie Barbarella (CA, United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I really like this set up. It's very easy to read and easy to follow. I like how it has pictures of the different tablets and capsules and a book marker. I love the price of the book. I was looking up my favorite drug Toradol and it's not in this book. I wonder if they changed the name or took Toradol off the market. I still see it at work so I'm unsure. Anyway, Ketorolac is there, but the trade name Toradol isn't there. There are several other drugs that I can't locate in this book so I'm unsure if they have been pulled off the market or not. I've found a drug book that actually has drugs that have been pulled off the market. So far this book doesn't have it that I'm aware of. I give this review 4 stars out of 5 because of the lack of drugs that are not in this book. Other than that it's definately a good drug book to have especially if you're on a budget.
OK but.. September 28, 2009 A. Pennington (Bklyn, NY) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I received this book today, thinking ok a book geared for nurses and disappointed. The book does not have categories example liek Davis Drug Guide which I always used say you cant remeber the name of the drug, it has cat for HTN, Cardiac drugs..etc..list the drugs there and the pages.. The Nursing Spectrum just has a short brief on the drug more chemistry which is annouing. It gives the action not the Therapeutic effect...Not enough pt teaching..Though I like it gives Administration of the drug, but soo many other pertinent info lacking..its like a fat bridge version of a drug book. This book no differnt that Mosby, PDR
