I cannot believe how much information is contained in this book. It has to be the definitive answer on how to manage your diet and a healthly life style. Not only does it describe the "super foods" in great detail it provides recipes. The suggestions on how to modify your diet by making healthier choices was inspirational. Recommendations on what to consume to improve health, diminsh pain, prevent disease and feel better were only the beginning of useful knowledge cram packed into this book. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with this book.

In todays day and age we are surrounded with unhealthy food choices. I was ready to make a lifestyle change not only for myself but for my family as well. Not knowing where to begin, I found myself in the local bookstore. Becoming completely overwhelmed by the choices of books about health and nutrition, I imediately gravitaded towards the "Dummies" series. I had previously purchased "Healthy Aging for Dummies" (by the same author as this book), which I had found extremely easy to read and follow. Needless to say, it was an easy choice to purchase "Superfoods for Dummies"... and I'm glad I did!! Not only has it helped me makes smart decisions when at the grocery store, but it's helped kick start my families new healthy living!!

The book was awesome! It made me think about the foods I eat and I realized that I needed to get healthier. The recipies were easy and helped me get started. One of the biggest surprises was that when I started eating better my energy level increased and I even dropped some weight. I highly recomend it to anyone who wants to start living healthier.

The book can be used to alter yours or the entire family's diet with tremendous success. The older I get the more I understand how my body reacts to what I put in my mouth. Since I have implemented the simple steps to eating healthier outlined in the book, I have more stamina and feel more energetic.
