| Customer Reviews: An amazing story of self-help cancer survival! October 1, 1999 anne@spartan.com.au (Perth, Western Australia) 34 out of 35 found this review helpful
This is an amazing story of how a young and determined vetinary surgeon set about curing himself of a very aggressive type of osteosarcoma. There are photographs of the huge tumours extending from his rib cage; the sixe of match boxes. He was senteced to death, and given two weeks to live. Some 25 years down the track he is not just alive, but has developed a programme for all cancer sufferers to learn how to heal themselves. This is the most dangerous and inspiring journey that a human being has to face. He has returned to his vetinary practice and founded the Gawler Foundation; dedicated to sufferers of not just cancer of the body, but also the soul. A great read of courage and determination. A book for everybody.

Helpful encouraging book December 28, 2008 E. Dyer (Queensland Australia) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book is full of practical, helpful and encouraging suggestions and information. Ian Gawler's seminars and his institute in Australia have the same message as this book about the degree to which you can make a real difference in your health even with as serious an illness as cancer. I have needed to completely change my diet for different health reasons and it worked. As a psychologist I know what a difference your own mind and beliefs makes to your health - the decision is yours whether you make your life everything it can be or hope that someone / something else will. This book shows you how to do it if you are going to take care of your life.
You can conquer cancer: Prevention and Management May 19, 2010 Brent M. Blonigan In reading this book, I thought it was very insightful. It was referenced in another book that I read. I do not have cancer but have others close to me that do. I don't think there is any quick fix and the book does not suggest any. It is situation where any person, including myself, has to look to those resources that are within. The book is a good read.
