This book was better than I expected. Very easy and clear instructions. Very informative and interesting to read. Usually I buy cookbooks and they collect dust. This one is used alot.

4 out of 5 stars not exactly lactose-free   August 1, 2008

I like this cookbook but it is not lactose-FREE. lactose- light would be a better title. I'm sensitive to any milk product including yogurt and cheeses with very little lactose so, I am a little dissapointed. However, many of the recipes are irresistable!! I would be happy to substitute dairy-free yogurt for many of them.

2 out of 5 stars The everything lactose free cookbook   October 17, 2009

I was disappointed with this book because they still use lactose products and there is still milk proteins used a lot. If you can have a little lactose and milk proteins this shows other ways to use normal lactose products and take out most of the lactose not all. Creative for that. I can't have any milk proteins in my diet so this book doesn't benefit me.
